CLIMATE CHANGE AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Scientific evidence shows that climate change devastates not only the environment but it also has a negative effect on social and economic development. Our economy is based on the use of resources and the emissions of pollution caused by it. Quorsus Consulting is focused on developing strategies to curb climate change with innovative strategies that can be applied by relevant stakeholders.
WHAT WE DO
Starting with the analysis of the operation process and the data available, Quorsus Consulting provides a new perspective to rethink and design the operation’s process. We identify opportunities to move towards sustainability within companies or within cities by working with governments.
We strengthen the conditions for business by building core competencies in circular design to limit their impact on the environment. We start by defining the challenge and the opportunities. Then, we create a circular business plan and accompany them through the entire process.
We also advise governments on the development and implementation of new regulations and enforcement of laws and programs to promote this circular approach of the economy.
Quorsus team has provided its services to the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and the World-Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) for the monitoring, reporting and evaluation of projects focused on mitigation and adaptation to climate change, biodiversity, land degradation and international waters.
These projects were financed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and were developed in accordance with the priority areas established by the national governments in Latin America and Africa towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
